There was some interest on this message board recently regarding my daily schedule.  Well, you'll get the basic idea starting with today's strip.

First thing's first (and vice versa)... every morning, having woken up from a restful slumber, I start off my day by taking a nap.  I tell you, no matter how much sleep I get the night before, if I don't start off my morning with a good, solid nap, you don't want to be hanging around this cougar.

Plus, if you've never had the experience of falling asleep on top of a radiator in the dead of winter, you haven't lived.

"-"  I wish I could take a nap in the mornings.  Well, for me down here, we dont have radiators, it hardly gets cold down here, and it only snowed once, before I was born.  Right now I wish I could sleep on a radiator, its a FREEZING 53*F *shivers*

We had snow flurries last weekend for the first time in nine years!  That doesn't mean it can't get cold at night, though.  It got down into the 30s last night here, but it's supposed to hit almost 70 this afternoon.  That's still chilly for me.

Of course, it's not like Scott lets me go outside to play or anything.  I think he's afraid I'll eat the other animals.

I intend to live forever.  So far, so good.

To err is human -- and to blame it
on a computer is even more so.

S'funny how every animal has their own personal comfort zone when it comes to temperatures, as I tend to drive the people around me crazy with my habits.  I love the winter here in Britain and I also love turning the heating down and revelling in below zero temperatures, especially when it's snowing.  Inside or out, it doesn't matter but I tend to feel really alive and alert when I'm in an environment like that, whereas the heat tends to dumb me down.

Yep, each kind of critter really does have its own peculiarities when it comes to temperature.  I'm just glad that it's actually getting cold now, last year we barely had a winter and the summer was crazy, the official consensus was that our beaches were hotter than almost every other European country's and that's just not right.  I was going mental thanks to that, three fries short of a happy meal, not in possession of one's faculties and so on, to paraphrase Jack O'Neill.  But at that time, I bet you would've loved it here, Sandusky.

While I'm not intolerable of cold, I much prefer the comfort of a nice radiator or a warm, sunny patch on the floor.

Bunker doesn't necessarily prefer the cold, but he is, of course, part Siberian Husky.  He's also part Australian Shepherd.  But I don't know how cold or hot it is in Australia.  I've never been there.

Well, to be perfectly honest, I've never been to Siberia either.

I intend to live forever.  So far, so good.
