I suppose I should start one of these for April, huh?

Well, as many of you have seen, there is no strip for Wednesday, April 4th yet.  It's not my fault!

ComicGenesis had some sort of a meltdown yesterday, and the line to update just keeps getting longer and longer.  I can't get too upset, though, because it's a free service.  Plus, this is the first time in many months that there has been any sort of significant hiccup.

That said, it's always frustrating to not see the updates when they're supposed to be there.

That's OK.  It's not funny anyway.

Well, I'll be glad when it does finally update. :=3

I found Sandusky through another web comic and I went through the entire archives in one siting. Great comic, John. :=3

OK, I figured it would just be a short wait to have things fixed by ComicGenesis.  I haven't seen any progress, though, so I'm posting today's strip here.  It'll eventually update on the regular page, but I'm tired of waiting.

Well, I'm glad you found it!  Just curious, what was the other web comic that linked to Sandusky?

I believe it was either Bill Holbrook's Kevin & Kell or the Carspecken's Faux Pas. :=3

Hmmm...has anyone else noticed that Sierra is holding all the aces??

Ain't that so typical of the females of the species.

Keep up the good work John!

It must have been Faux Pas.  They ran a link for me a few weeks back.  I don't think I've quite hit Bill Holbrook's radar screen yet.  ;)

Yes, Sierra's doing a number on Bunker.  The sibling rivalry has subsided a bit, but embarassing Bunker at poker is not a good way to keep it like that.

Would you like to hit Bill's radar screen?  I might be able to poke a couple other friends who are in tighter with Mr. Holbrook for ya.

Your strip has merit and a style all it's own that I think he'd find, refreshing.

He's really a down to earth guy with a family of his own.  Yeah, he draws good too.

Of course!  I want to hit as many radar screens as possible, and his is one of the biggest on the net.  I'm not one to endlessly plug my own site, but I'm more than happy to send others off to do it for me.

Of course, I only want people to do it if they feel Sandusky deserves it.  If that's the case, I'm all for it!

Sandusky is definitely worth it, and I'll plug it to John "the Gneech" Robey, who does The Suburban Jungle http://www.suburbanjungle.com

He's on a short hiatus, as he just moved into a new house. ;=3

I AIM'ed the Gneech about your strip and here's the conversation:

LowenKindRR: Hello there. ;=3
gneech: Hey dude.
LowenKindRR: Here's a web comic you may enjoy: http://sandusky.comicgenesis.com/
gneech: Seen it, actually.  It's pretty good.
LowenKindRR: Yeah. :=3

So you're already on his "radar". :=3

Hope the 'dusker has fun at the sanctuary.
Cartoons are so much more pleasant than real life.
If this were real life, Scott would never get Sandusky back, and the sanctuary would use him in a fundraising/animal rights ban bill campaign, and talk about how he was horribly abused and kept in a one-room apartment, and the sanctuary needs $100,000 by next friday, or Sandusky will have to be put to sleep...  *cough* Big Cat Rescue *cough*  *cough* Carole Baskins *cough*

Glad it's a cartoon, and not real life! :P

Yes, it's most definitely a cartoon.  However, it's still based enough in real life (aside from the talking thing) that those things can happen.  It's why Scott decided to keep Sandusky in the first place, rather than turning him over to authorities.

Or maybe something like a "born free" moment, with green kool-aid and brownies all around.
