Bunker proposes a completely selfless act to help raise money for the new house.  Well, almost completely selfless - he and Sandusky still want a Nintendo Wii.

I notice that Bunker isn't trying to get rid of Sandusky anymore.

You have to remember, however, that he also has a new house and a Nintendo Wii at stake.  So, his actions are not completely altruistic.

I would think that the Wii would be pretty hard to use without opposable thumbs!

So is an X-Box, but that hasn't stopped them before.

My vote is for modded game controllers for the opposable-thumb challenged.

How can Bunker hope to be any better at the Wii than the X-box? /:?

There isn't enough about Texas in that sentence.

You never know.  He isn't good at direction and pressing buttons, but there's a small chance that Bunker could have an inner ninja or  swashbuckler within himself.

He figures if he can get the console a few weeks in advance of Sandusky's return from the sanctuary, he'll have himself an edge.  And we all know he needs all the help he can get.

Most dogs crave attention, whether it be positive or negative attention, which is better than none at all... I think Bunker is realizing that.  ;)

Most kats named Nbowa can't golf or play pool either.

I have to admit, when Sandusky took off in the previous comic I really didn't get it.  But the completion of the joke today is priceless.  Racing in a circle because that's all he's done in the apartment is brilliant

I'm glad the joke came across the way it was meant to, then.  I was afraid of overselling it with the "explanation" in the fourth panel.  Of course, I was also afraid of not explaining it enough and having absolutely nobody get it.

Not that it would have been the first time nobody got one of my jokes.

I adopted a Keeshond from a rescue center once that had been kept in a small pen his entire life. When he would get excited, he would run in a small circle. When he would be in the back yard and we'd call him, he always veered to one side as he'd run to us, then he'd have to correct his aim, then he'd veer off again. Sort of like tacking in the wind on a sailboat. It was kinda freaky.

Hmmm, are you sure his legs aren't shorter on one side?

*That's* one thing I never thought to check.

Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with a very bad case of heartworm. I scheduled him to have surgery to remove the large worms, but a few days before his surgery date, he was stolen out of my yard and I never saw him again. I like to think that he's still circling above me somewhere.

Good old Wilbur. I have lots of Wilbur stories for a dog I only had 6 months. He was the omega dog of omega dogs.

It's my tail. Don't you know it's rude to point?
