December 3rd's comic reminds me of a scene from "The Green Mile."  (only the motivation is different)

That's one of my favorite movies, and I never even thought about the connection.  That said, Sandusky and "Wild Bill" are quite different characters.  Scott and Boss Edgecomb, however, do seem to have a lot in common (aside from the bladder infection).

I think Scott's probably smarter than to actually do that.  Of course, a fire hose might come in handy after the mountain lion has been removed from the room.

Looks like Sandusky and Scott have a very different view of what's going on, I began to wonder if Scott had gone crazy before I hit the last panel.

You're not the only one, I've read the book several times and I didn't think of it either before Yuoo mentioned it. Wild Bill was indeed quite a character, in a bad way that is, so unsurprisingly he pretty much got what was coming to him.

And the bladder infection bit was somewhat too realistically presented for my taste, ick ick <hairs stand up>.

If the cast of Sandusky starred in The Green Mile, then Dingus would probably be the bratty, self-centered guard who loses his mind at the very end.
