Thanks everybody for hanging in there for the past several weeks as Sandusky has gone non-canon.  We'll be back, at long last, to our regular storyline on Monday.

As you can see (or will see as soon as I update), I've added links on my main page to the Sandusky books at IndyPlanet.  If you didn't get in on the original purchase, or if your dog (or kat) ate your first copies, you can pick up a new set there.

I liked the non-canon comics, but it's great news to hear that you'll be returning to normally scheduled programming tomorrow, John.

And I hope your package encourages someone to jump on it, I'm sure you'd like to receive something more substantial than just loads of good vibes from drawing Sandusky.

I hope one of the newspapers picks up your comics, John.

I do look forward to getting back to the colorful version of Sandusky, though.

Heh, Sandusky reminds me of myself, though I'm not quite that obsessed when waiting for something I want. And I'd ask if he has remembered to eat or sleep while waiting for Sedona, but I seriously doubt he'd forget either of those.

At least Bunker gets some quality time alone with whatever game console they have now.

I had a feeling Sedona had some young'uns as her surprise. Now Scott gets to think up three more city names while Bunker puzzles over the fact there's another adult male cougar out there somewhere...

Wow! That was a nice surprise, congratulations to everyone who guessed that right umphteen weeks ago. And awww, they're so cute!

I wonder how uncle Sandusky is going to take the news, and what Sedona will want to do once she has revealed her 'secret' to him. Somehow I doubt Bunker and Scott can handle much more cougars even if they now live in a house.

Hmmmm....two nieces and a nephew.

Scranton, Wilkes, and Barre?

Dallas, Fort, and Wayne?

I donno...

If she had been named Cedar Point, they could have been named after roller coasters.

Raptor, Magnum, and Maverick.

Your books are safe, so far. Simba hasn't seemed to like them... unlike Sports Illustrated, which barely lasts a week before turning into confetti...
I'll be curious to see what comes of the cubs as well!

Dallas and Fort Wayne?  I used to live in Fort Wayne!  Of course, I believe you meant Fort Worth.  You must have had the Indiana primary contest on your mind.

I was thinking Minneapolis and Saint Paul for the twins, and perhaps Duluth or Rochester for the boy.  Or maybe I'll pass on reviving the whole "cities" theme this time around.  I still haven't decided on names.

While I'm glad they haven't gone the way of the Dodo (er... Sports Illutrated), I must say I'm a bit disappointed that Simba doesn't find them to his liking.

I'm sorry John... maybe if the strip had more bobcats he'd be happier. After all, Sports illustrated has the Charlotte Bobcats and Baxter from the Diamondbacks...

And nice video!

I should be thanking you John, both for creating a comic that makes me feel like a 10 year old kid again and for giving me permission to use your artwork.

Maybe I'm just biased from my work in conservation, but, as cute as Sedona's kittens are, it's also kind of sad that the 'Dusker can only ever be an uncle, and not a father, himself.
I could see him having at least a few moments of angst about that after meeting the kittens, although it might be a little too 'downer' for what is supposed to be a relatively light-hearted comic.  With the 'light-hearted' in mind, I also wonder what Sedona's mate would be like.  I could see him as a dark and handsome Sonoran 'latin lover' from across the border.  He'd just walk over the border wall as if it wasn't there. :P

Sandusky has a curious way of saying 'sausage'. Poor him, isn't it always so that when you've been waiting for something all week, and leave for five minutes, then whatever you've been waiting for comes to your doorstep meanwhile.

And looks like Sedona isn't completely clueless of the human way of life, I wonder what she thinks of all this work humans do. Hope she and her kittens are not rounded up by the local police force/hunters for being out so openly.
