Hmm, perhaps I should take up on reading Artemis Fowl, been bumping into the series over the years but never read any of the books.

Ah.
If you're naming the kittens after places in AZ, I call dibs on Yuma. :P
I helped to raise a male cougar kitten at my old zoo job, and we called him Yuma the Puma.  He grew to be well over 200 lbs.

For female names, there's always Phoenix, or you could go eight miles across the California state line, and name one of the females Felicity, after Felicity, CA. :P

I see our little "rain" dog is up to his normal activities again-albeit with a map of Arizona this time. I suppose that Arizona would be a nice name for one of the girls. Kind of fitting since mountain lions are one of the state's most recognizable animals. If you would consider a historical name for the little guy, Rufus would be a nice one. Rufus Arizona was the first mascot for the University of Arizona (circa 1915). While he was a cat, he was a wild cat, not a mountain lion.

Well, I hope this is not a sign of how the school year this year will be.  Today is the first day (of my sec year of college) and the first day of public schools here, and public schools have been canceled due to TS Fay.

Thanks!  But, seeing as I have myself been nailed by cougar cubs on several occasions, I hope you wouldn't expect anything less from me.

Sorry I've been so quiet for the last week or so, I blame real life and it's opposite, role play, for eating up my time entirely.  :/ Not to mention I've largely ignorant of the subjects coming up when naming the cubs so I can't comment on those either.

However, I've been greatly enjoying the strips, their struggles to name the three rascals and the ongoing antics of the said three are all highly amusing. Too bad Yuma the Puma was discarded, I like how it rhymes.

And oh, Sandusky, you honestly think you aren't like them still?

I think Moe, Larry and Curly would probably end up being good names for the cubs when they get bigger

Aren't two of the cubs female? Then if they were going with a trio thing, shouldn't they go with a trio that has two girl names in it?

Like the group from that old sitcom, "Three's Company" or something...

Just to pitch in my two cents, out of all the groups that I can think of that have female members, the only one that keeps on popping up for me is Heart.

(Does Scott like Heart? O.o)

Ann and Nancy Wilson were the original and only constant female members, so why not name one Ann, one Nancy, and one Wilson?

Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

Ooh, I like Layla and Page even if I couldn't tell the two apart in less time than a few minutes of close looking. At first I thought the two were identical until I looked really closely and saw differences in their spots.

And welcome from me too, taikoshepherd!
