I'm going to switch things up again on the message boards, so that, rather than month to month, we'll have threads from story to story.  As you can see from the last panel in today's strip, I'm introducing a bit of drama into Sandusky's life.

You should have a better idea of where this story is headed by the end of the week.  At that time, I'll rename the topic.  I don't want to give anything away yet, though.

Either the AR nutbars are going to 'wild release' the 'Dusker, or he's going to end up in a 'sanctuary'. Won't it be funny if he gets taken to the same one he stayed in before John built him his pen?

These forums have indeed inspired me on several occasions.  However, I've had this storyline in my head for quite some time now.  I hadn't intended on bringing it out so soon after the fake-out of everyone arriving to renovate Sandusky's enclosure and basement, but it just happened to work out that way.

By the way, I'm replying to you in this new thread, as there's a lot that will be happening in this story, and I think it's best to keep things all in one thread as opposed to separating them out month to month.

Sorry, Joh, look like I've been so wrapped up in other pursuit I didn't notice there was a whole new thread for the new storyline (I've had the September thread continuously open for the last week, and it didn't occur to me to check before posting). I've been reading the comic without pause, though.

And I'm too tired to make any really intellectual comments now, but I just found it funny that I commented about Goldthwait being an ALF member not long before you brought in the said organisation. And it is true that storylines don't alway progress as you first think they would.

I admit that I had to tip-toe around the ALF issue when you brought it up, meckelbu, as I certainly didn't want to give anything away about this storyline (and I still don't).

I was glad to hear that it's a group that at least a handful of my readers are familiar with.  For those of you unfamiliar with ALF, be sure check out their Wikipedia entry.

Eeep. I wonder how far they are exactly from his home. Sandusky is due for one terrible awakening when he does wake up, that's for sure. Time for a rescue party in the morning, I guess, too bad they have no idea where to go. Perhaps Sedona, Goldthwaith and the unnamed coyote are dragged into the mess also.

Sierra has a very funny expression, I wonder if she's winning or losing. (Is that smugness or frustration. At least Bunker seems to be rather disillusioned.)
