I hear that some cats, when they get petted, have small sparks of static electricity in their fur.  Has that happened to you before?

Oh, yeah.  It happens all the time, especially since it's so dry here.  Bunker's even worse, though.  My fur is short enough that it doesn't carry much of a charge.  Bunker's got millions of little lightning rods all over him.

To tell you the truth, when Scott pets us, he's the one who suffers most of all.  And I'm not talking about when I use my claws to tell him I'm "done" being petted.  The static really doesn't bother me at all.

I intend to live forever.  So far, so good.
