Do you have any recollection of the owners and/or owners who left you on Scott's doorstep when you were a cub?

I don't remember anything before my life with Scott and Bunker.  Maybe if I were hypnotized and taken back in my mind...  In fact, I think a lot of that stuff in the early strips was just made up.  I don't remember any of it.

Come to think of it, same goes for those sessions with Mellencamp.  ;)

Well, you see, there is a highly intelligent race of feline aliens living in outer space.  They resemble cougars, but they refer to themselves as the Great People of the Purple Plume.  Anyway, they've been watching Earth for a while, and they decided that it was time to introduce one of their own kind to the Earth-creatures.  Thus, Sandusky ended up on Scott's doorstep.

It is foretold by one of their grand elders that Sandusky will be pivotal in shaping the path of Earth's history.

Maybe someone found you abandoned, and thought they'd put you there so you'd have a nice home.

I wonder who your parents are! Mellencamp could be your long lost uncle or something!

Perhaps whoever left you simply paled at the idea of finding a spackle wholesaler.
