Dear Fennec, How tall? I'd say it has to be a good 12-14 feet to the top. Could I climb it? Yes. Would that do me any good? Not really. You see, there's actually a "roof" on my enclosure. Like the walls, it's chain link. So, it gives me a chance to check out the stars at night and the various birds during the day. Also, it allows outsiders to toss malted milk balls my way. Of course, on the rare days that it rains out here in the desert, I would have to go inside to seek shelter. To answer a possible follow-up question, the fence is also buried into the ground. So, even if I were to dig, there'd be no way of getting under it - not that I'd ever want to anyway. There's also that 8' tall wooden privacy fence to deal with. To be honest, that fence is there more to keep others out as opposed to keeping me in. We don't want some stupid person reaching through the chain link to try and pet me while I'm asleep or something. Not that I mind the affection. It's anybody's guess what reaction suddenly waking me up from a deep slumber might bring. Your Feline Friend, El Duskero --Last edited by Sandusky on 2007-09-28 09:31:29 -- | |||
