Okay Sandusky, simple question. Are you addicted internet? And if you are, what sites do you visit often?

My favorite site is sanduskycomic.com.  That is one cool cougar!

I also go to foxnews.com quite often, because there are a lot of foxes on the message boards.  I want to make sure I can keep up with what they're doing.

But, to tell you the truth, I'm not really addicted to the internet.  Bunker spends a lot more time surfing the net than I do.  I just drop in to see what I might have been up to in my most recent catnip adventure.

I was one of the people that lost the web last night when Bellsouth had a major DNS server failure that destroyed the Bellsouth DSL coverage in 9 southern states!

As an Internet addict I know your pain, that must've been hard.  

I have my cell phone as a backup connection (as slow as gprs might be) but I wish I could do the same as my friend who has both DSL and cable, plus they are on separate ground cables coming from different directions so no one isp failure or backhoe can knock him offline.  

I, too, am an internet addict.  And am feeling the pain of withdrawal every evening and weekend as my computer is being fixed/upgraded.  I feel like a fish out of water once I get home.  Only place I can access internet is while I'm here at work.  I braved the "icy conditions possible" to come to the office today just because I wanted to see what Sandusky was up to today.  Sadly, my cell phone is basically no frills (no camera, no music, no this, no that) so if I don't come to work, it's either do without internet or go to the public library.

Ugh, that's even worse than not having 'net available simply to entertain you. Were you able to do them anyway?

What comes to Internet access I've covered most of my bases back here, not only I have a backup connection, I also have several backup machines, extra adsl modem, a 30 minute ups and for long blackouts a 2kW gasoline generator.

Speaking of which, this 2/1 Mbit adsl I have here clearly doesn't have enough upload bandwidth, but correcting that is most likely out of my reach.  

Time to upgrade. My phone is slow to load Sandusky... I think it's all the other ads on the page.
