Here is a summery of the web comics I currently read: 2’s a Company Update: TR The story of two friends, the simple minded and impulsive Andy and his long suffering friend Travis...oh, and Riley, a kid they found living in a dustbin. Well, that WAS what it was about, now it's gotten a lot more consistant. The cast has grown, and the strips have matured. El Goonish Shive Update: MWF The comic depicts the lives of a fictional group of teenagers in their junior year of high school. They are subject to the trials of daily teenage life, such as disapproving parents, nasty rumours and arbitrary school decisions, as well as more outlandish problems involving magic, aliens, parallel dimensions and "superscience". Sandusky Update: M-F until August 1st 2008, then it will update MWR Sandusky, a mountain lion was dropped off as a cub on the front porch of an unsuspecting bachelor and his dog. He grew up in Scott's apartment alongside his Siberian Husky friend, Bunker. Slightly Damned Update: S (but lately the comics have been updated a few days late) Slightly Damned follows the adventures of Rhea. When Rhea died, she wasn't good enough to get into Purgatory yet not quite bad enough to get the full punishment of Hell. Although she was at heart a good person, her actions did not always reflect that. It wasn't just one thing in particular that got her damned; she was just kind of being a bitch in general. TechAsy Update: M Status: Possible hiatus during August of 2008 due to vacation The story deals with Gias and Idola. Who are these two? Well they are important names and the reason this story exists. Gias is the creator of a life source called Mana, the creator of the Earths eight basic elements and a guide for the Mana that flows around the Earth's living entities such as the animals, humans and anthros that reside upon the surface. Idola is an entiny formed of darkness, nothingness and the void. It wanted to see all that Gias had created destroyed; in short they both battled and Gias claimed victory, banishing Idola to his own state of void. TwoKinds Update: S Status: Hiatus? The artist’s father recently underwent chemotherapy and passed away on July 4th 2008 After losing his memory to a mysterious battle, Trace Legacy, a former leader for an organization of mages called the Templar, finds himself in the company of Flora, a girl of strange, tiger-like qualities. As Trace gradually begins to re-learn what he once knew, he soon discovers that Flora belongs to a race of people who are enemies of his kind. As friendship confects with racial differences, Trace and Flora find themselves in a situation more critical than either of them can imagine. You Say it First Update: MWF Brisbane Adams and Kimberly Taylor have been friends, rivals and potential love interests in the time the two worked together in the Minerva Theater. Just as they were getting close to figuring each other out, tragedy strikes; the Minvera Theater, the place that helped to keep Brisbane, Kimberly and all their friends together, has been closed down due to lack of funds. As the rest of their friends scatter to the winds, Brisbane is left to fend for himself and soon finds out just how cruel the world can be. In a last ditch effort, Brisbane turns to the only person left from him old life... his friend, rival and possible love interest, Kimberly Taylor. Now the two of them face the world, both it's victories and defeats, together... and patiently wait to see who will be the one to make the first move and which will be the one to say it first...

Ah, thanks for reminding me that Slightly Damned still exists, I half-accidentally dropped it from my comic list quite some time ago when the updates became sporadic. I can't resist adding some of mine : Housepets comic (Sorry, no fancy link art) Anthropomorphic dog and cat living as pets in a human household, they're (normally) buddies even though the comic uses the typical cat/dog stereotypes as their personalities. ![]() Skin Horse A human crossdresser, a more than slightly crazy undead girl stitched together from parts and a genetically engineered dog with human-level intelligence form a team in project Skin Horse, a project dedicated to help other non-human sapients to cope in the modern world with the minumum of fuss. Or that's how it's supposed to work... A Fierce Bad Rabbit Blog in comic form with the artist and other people depicted as furries, largish archives. --Last edited by meckelbu on 2008-07-24 12:19:42 -- |

I used to read The Cyantian Chronicles and other comics Tiffany Ross's site has, but I practically lost track of them years ago as there are so many and the update schedules vary. These days I only check them out every now and then. Looked at Good Cheese, but it wasn't really my cheese. ![]() Better Days is one of the comics I follow faithfully. I wish Jay Naylor would update New Worlds too at some point, it's irritating that he got off to a good-looking start with a world setting and everything and then left the comic hanging. Outsider is one comic I dropped for a long time since it entered a lenghty hiatus with very sporadic updates, but I've reinstated it now that several new pages have appeared on the site. As for other comics I've dropped over the years, there are so many I can hardly remember any of them, and some are already lost completely (Dakotas Ridge ). |

I have two more comics that I have started reading to add to my list: Bristled Update: WU Coming soon... MacRatLove Update: WU MacRatLove is, first and foremost, an escape from the insanity of writing my (Sophie Weeder, the artiest) thesis. It is a documentation of all the weird and funny things that happen in everyday life. Like a comic diary, only without all the angst and romance.
