John,

I know in the FAQ you mention about putting out a book. A compilation would be great and may I suggest Plan 9 publishing ( http://www.plan9publishing.com ). They do the Gneech's books as well as Bill Holbrook's. They are also great people.

Just a thought. :=3

Thanks!  I've looked into them before.  The only problem is that they don't do color interiors (at least not the last time I looked).  I know that color is much more expensive, but I don't know if I can bring myself to print these out in black and white.  I was also looking into Ka-Blam!, as they will do color interiors at a reasonable price.

Of course, if it comes down to a $10 difference per book, I may just have to go with b&w.  I'm still researching, though, and Plan 9 is certainly still on my short list.

Actually they do limited color interiors. I think they are going with more and more color on the interior.

I'll have to check my copy of "Tough Breaks", when I get home, to see how much color is in it

Well, if they're moving more towards being able to do some color stuff, then I'll definitely take another look at them.  Even some "limited color" interiors might be worth it.  I want to make sure I have some "extras" to give people an incentive to purchase a book, as opposed to just printing out and stapling together what's already online.  ;)  Even if I could just get those extras in color, and leave the rest in black and white, it might be an option to look at.  Let me know what you find out.

Well, for Tough Breaks, there are 140 pages 10 of which are in color.

The color pages are located in the rear and have a nice gloss to them. Also the book is very nicely glued bound, not just stapled together.

I've looked into Lulu, but they are a little too expensive when it comes to color.  I don't want to have to charge an arm and a leg for the books.  Either way, I won't make any money off of them.

And, in the end, that's what it's all about.  It's not "making people laugh", and it's not the fun artistic explorations.  It's all about the money.  ;)

And the steak! No more Ramen!

Oh, yes, a nice, juicy filet mignon would be wonderful...

Of course, I'd have to wean myself off of the Ramen first.

I think they have steak flavor. Or at least beef.

Makes note to himself that if he's ever out John's way to take him to a  steak house, preferably Texas Roadhouse. They have awesome steaks, much better than OB or LS. :=3

Good luck.  I'd like to be able to buy a Sandusky book - easier to read that way.

One thing I want to do is write kids' books (most of which have a lot of animal pictures).  I'd attach a picture, but it doesn't seem to be an option.
