Hi, John,

It occurred to me that you're still missing one notable "big cat" for the show -- Specifically, a black leopard.

Suggestion: If not an actual character for the strip, maybe part of one of Sandusky's catnip hullabalutions. The critter could be the feline equivalent of 'Bond. James Bond.'

Feel free to run with that one if you want.

Happy sketching.

Well, on June 29, there were leopards Kalahari and Malavar.  They aren't black leopards, but they're the same species, just different coloration.

I don't see there being a black leopard (or a melanistic jaguar for that matter).  Like Kristina said, black leopards are not a separate species.  I still might have a surprise up my sleeve, though.  ;)

Also, Kristina, it's Malaya, not Malavar.  She's named after the Himalayas (home to snow leopards in the wild), just like Kalahari is named after the African desert (home to African leopards).  I'm sure Malaya won't get upset at you, though.

I know that this isn't on topic, but yesterday I went to our city's small zoo.  (By "small" I mean that it focus on native wildlife, so most of the enclosure are just fence.)  Well, I saw some Florida panthers there.  I took some pictures, but the film didn't develop right.  I need to get a digital camera.

John, please apologize to Malaya for me; I didn't mean to get her name wrong.

Yuoofox, digital cameras are great!  I've got one, and it's wonderful for taking pictures of animals.
