Hey Meghan!

Unfortunately, that cute Golden Retriever is going out with a gigantic Rottweiler.  Somehow, I don't think that ones going to work out for me.    Unless I were to employ the help of my "golden retriever" roommate...

Which way down the street are you?  Scott and I always go left towards the park (not the big one where Sandusky "met Mellencamp").  If you live towards the right, chances are I haven't been by your place.  You'll have to stop by sometime.  We're adjacent to the office on the second level, second door from the right.  Watch out for Dingus, though.  He's a pain in the you know what.

Ah. Rottie's arn't fun to compete against.

Oh, I live to the right of you, then. Takes me a while to get to the park, but I'm there nearly every day. I'm training, if you ever want to come check it out. I'm in agility, mhm. My owner, Karen, and I usually go to the park at night on weekends, you know to watch the sunset sometimes. I think I am going to have to stop by sometime. Oh, and I know all about Dingus. Stole my tennis ball last year, the dip. I need to get used to that pet of yours anyways. Sandusky, is it? I've seen him once or twice. I think I saw you guys at the park once as well.

That's both disgusting and interesting at the same time.  Thanks... I think.

Perhaps I need to change my signature now.

Hey, Bunker, you watch a lot of television, right?  What are your ten favorite shows currently?  Here are mine, in no particular order:

MythBusters
That '70s Show
Punk'd
Poker Dome Challenge
Sonic X
TMNT
Naruto
Match Game
Deal or No Deal
1 vs. 100

This question is not only for you, but also for Scott, Sandusky, John, and anyone who has an active account on these forums.

Fox, I've started a new topic in the "General Stuff" section for this question, as it's a good one.  Thanks!

Bunker, I think it's cool that you're a Huskey Aussie mix.  Sounds like you've got a lot of smart dog genes!

Hey, Bunker. As we say here in Chicagoland, howya doin?

I found the strip, like a lot of people, through the Faux Pas link. I went through the entire archive and it's really good!

I was even more pleased that you were a husky. We have two huskies at home, Oley & Cheyenne, which are brother and sister. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately - who knows?), they are like Rhythm & Lyric in that while Cheyenne is pretty smart, Oley seems to have a refridgerator bulb upstairs, if you know what I mean. But he's happy - he's a dog.

When I read the archives it was intersting that you found out you were half husky. My assistant at work has two aussies, and we meet at the dog park and have fun while they frolic.

I know all dog breed have certain character traits, but your mother and father were two breeds with _really_ noticeable ones. Are you more like a husky than an aussie, or vice versa? Do you tend to herd everything and get protective around John and Sandusky, or maybe you're easily bored, mischievous and pretty much accept all humans as your new best friend?

It's my tail. Don't you know it's rude to point?

I've never been to Chicago, but John is a big Cubs fan and has been to Wrigley Field a whole bunch of times.  He used to live in Wisconsin and Indiana, but he got tired of the long winters.

Thanks!  Sandusky's a walking comedy act (even if he doesn't know it).

Scott's dad tells a lot of Oley and Lena jokes (or is it Ole?).  Maybe that's why Oley's elevator doesn't go all the way to the top.

Here's an Ole and Lena joke for you:

Ole and Lena got married. On their honeymoon trip they were nearing Minneapolis when Ole put his hand on Lena's knee. Giggling, Lena said, "Ole, you can go a little farther now if ya vant to"... so Ole drove to Duluth.

Anyway, as long as Oley's a happy dog, everything should be fine.  I think Rhythm quite enjoys his obliviousness.  Sometimes, I wish I were that naive.

I'd say I'm more husky, but it might be because I was raised to believe I was 100% husky.  I'm definitely easily bored, Sandusky and I can be quite mischievous, and Scott says I'd make a terrible guard dog.  I suppose I was pretty protective of Sandusky when he was a cub (even though I wanted Scott to get a golden retriever).  Now, though, it's kind of silly for me to be protective of a 150 pound mountain lion.
