I just read today's strip, and it shows you and Sierra playing poker.  Me, I'm a Texas Hold 'Em fan myself and here's my question:  What do you and the rest of the Sandusky cast think of Texas Hold 'Em?

I like watching Texas Hold 'Em on TV.  I think Daniel Negreanu is my favorite guy to watch.  He always seems to know what the other players have.  It can be pretty scary at times.  Sandusky isn't a huge fan of TV poker.  He typically needs something with a little more action.

Sometimes I play poker on the internet, too.  People get pretty embarassed when they find out they've been beaten by a dog.    Scott doesn't let me play for real money, though.

Who was the first person to say, "See that chicken there?  I'm gonna eat the next thing that comes out of it's ass."

I hear that.

His loss.  (You reading this, Sands?)  But he does enjoy playing poker, right?

Interesting.  I believe I would like to see how you do while playing against me.  I play regularly on Full Tilt Poker (www.fulltiltpoker.net) and Carbon Poker (www.carbonpoker.com).  Look me up.  My screen names are listed below:

Straight up!  Foxes are awesome!  Other canids, too (dogs, wolves, jackals, coyotes, etc.).  Cats?  Generally, they suck, but I like a few individual cats.  And Sandusky is one of those I like.

Since this topic is about poker, Yuoo--more specifically, it's about Texas Hold 'Em--what do you think of the game?

While I have yet to meet a fox in person, they seem like pretty cool guys to me.  And I'm glad that I'm OK for a cat.    You may want to be careful with the anti-cat rhetoric elsewhere on the boards, though.  There are some pretty fanatical feline fans out there.

See Bunker, I told you I could use both "rhetoric" and "fanatical" in the same post.  HA!

I intend to live forever.  So far, so good.

Well, the last time I played poker was when I was about 12 or 13 years old, with my family.
**Caution:  Luddite fox approaching** Plus, since I don't have TV signal (cable or antenna), I've only seen Texas Hold'em once, and that was at a restaurant.

Oh, I never really answered your question, did I?  Well, even though I don't play it, Poker seems like an excellent game:  a balance of statistics, interpersonal psychology, and gut instinct.

Not to mention violence, but only if I lose.

That reminds me of something...
